happy energy
Sep. 10th, 2003 02:44 pmI seem to be way too hyper today. I have a lot of happy energy. Why? I know not the whys, only the wherefores. Ok, so I am a little crazy and silly today. This is a good thing right? I have a social/business event this evening. I am going to Karen’s house at 5:30 for Blue Fin martinis. Then it is off to Mario’s for scrumptious Italian food. I know it is delicious, because we went there for lunch last Monday also.
We are going out with our good friend Jacquie, 2 financial planners that are new business contacts, Jean & Cindy, and Lynn from the Commercial Banking Dept. here at Charter One. So, six ladies with a drink or two in them going out on the town. Should be fun.
Tomorrow night I might try to pack again. I think I will tell myself good luck now. Friday night is also a social function. Again with Karen. The branch manager of Karen’s branch is going to head the new Starbuck’s branch. Yes, you are reading that correctly. It does say Starbucks. Apparently, the downtown branch has a Starbucks opening in the branch. The branch will be open as long as the Starbucks. [6:30 am to 12:00 am] Yikes…
Why Bobby is leaving to go be the manager there, we can’t quite figure out. Of course when the company offers you such a wonderful opportunity, you can’t really pass it up if you want to continue to rise within the ranks. So we are attending the going away party at Maxie’s on Friday. Nice little restaurant. It seems Bobby is going to sing karaoke. Karen has said she would pay to see this. Should be a lot of fun also.
Ok, I am going to take my happy energy and try to be productive at work now.
