Aug. 20th, 2007 09:04 pmHello all! Not sure if anyone even has me listed anymore. I know I haven't written much lately. Not that I was a big writer before. However, I do still read all of your journals. I have thought to myself a few times that I never write in this thing, so why do I bother reading it. I stopped once, but after a week I realized I missed you all. Funny how much you can miss people you don't really know.
I had a crazy dream last night. I woke up around 2:30 and when I finally got back to sleep, the dreams began. The one part I remember well was a fight. The people in my dream were characters at this point. If you have ever played or seen Baldur's Gate, we looked like characters from that game. My husband and I looked kind of funny with our glowing swords.
Anyway, Ned was with two other people and they got in fight with a vampire. I was a little ways off and all I remember yelling was don't let the vampire hit you. Apparantly, crazy dream that it was, all the vampire had to do to turn you was hit you with his glowing sword. hehe Well, Ned didn't listen very well and he got hit by the vampire. I was pretty ticked at him and let me tell you, I let him have. I told him I didn't want to be a vampire and how dare he turn into one.
At this point, I did the only thing I could. I jumped on a zip line and zipped down into vampire territory to become a vampire too. Weird, but kind of funny.
Ned told me he did not like this man in my dreams. He keeps getting him in trouble. ;)
We are going to DragonCon in Atlanta with some friends of ours on Labor Day weekend. I have never been to a Con and never had much idea of what a Con was or entailed, but it seems like it will be interesting. I am interested in the authors that are going to be there. I would love to meet some of these people that write the books I read! Ned would really like to sit in on a few of the D&D gaming sessions. He wants to see how other people play and how other GM's work there games. He has only ever played with 4 maybe 5 other people and would like to get an idea of how other people play.
I will wrap this up for now. I hope to be a little more consistant, and maybe get to know you guys a little more.
