Random Tea-ness
Jun. 18th, 2009 11:15 amI just looked up Rooibos teas to see what is said about them. Apparantly, they are de-caf. Good to know. I have a little tea shop downtown that used to have over 500 teas. They now only have about 150, but that is still quite a bit. They are also serving food now too. I don't see them closing anytime soon. I bought a caramel rooibos and it is divine. It has such a rich flavor. I bought a little steeping pot at Teavana several months ago. Yesterday was the first day I tried it. I bought a tea that said it had a chocolate flavor before christmas, but I came home one day to find the dogs had gotten ahold of it. There was tea everywhere!
Anyone know how to save the tea to re-steep? Wikipedia said that Rooibos has a limited re-steeping life, but you can do it. I think the lady at Teavana told me what to do, but I just can't remember.
