Sadness

This week our boy, Drake, was diagnosed with an aggressive form of an auto-immune disease. In the last five weeks he went from 22 to 15 pounds. What we thought was a bad ear infection turned into a nightmare of weight loss and pain for my baby. This morning we had him euthanized. Ned and I both stayed with him until he was gone. I will miss him so much. He was 6 years old. I will miss him so much.
