The Bug Strikes

Our honeymoon was wonderful, and then I got the flu. Yes, that is right, the flu. It started out as a tickle in my throat. I just thought something was stuck in it. Thursday evening at dinner I realized I was getting sick. We did the Magic Kingdom on Friday, but by 3 pm I was wiped out. The trip home on Saturday had me in full blown flu mode. Poor Ned had to drive the whole way home. Sunday I ended up in Urgent Care looking for something to help me out with my chest. I ended up having to take Tuesday and Wednesday off work. Monday was a holiday. Today was my first day back. I was exhausted by early afternoon, but the flu has pretty much let me go now. Finally! It wasn’t the best ending I could have hoped for.
