Sprung the Patient

kajelWell, Stacy escaped from the hospital today. She had been incarcerated for 9 days. Doctor says her heart sounds a lot better. Not going to do the iffy drug therapy to dissolve the clot right now. Going to hope it goes away on its own now that she has the proper Cumadin level in her blood. So basically they are going to watch her and see. As long as this stays non- life threatening they have decided to leave it alone.
Well, I have to be out of my apartment by the end of the month. I gave notice just before going to Charlotte for Labor Day weekend. My landlord, Earl, is happy to extend my lease until November, but I decided not to do that. I want the extra two months of savings without rent. I am moving everything to my parent’s garage. Then back to the Bat Cave for a 2 months for me. That would be my parent’s basement.
When I lived down there before, my mother took to calling it that. Yeah, don’t ask me. My mother has a very warped sense of humor. She can be pretty hysterical. Jeni has found an apartment. No longer stressing about that detail. We just have to get it cleaned up. It is kind of a mess. She got a month’s rent off though because of that. Which helps her out tremendously.
My busy summer feels like it is coming to a close. Just going to spend this month concentrating on packing and cleaning. Then it will be time for my trip to Arizona to see my family and friends in October. After that it will be Thanksgiving and my move to Charlotte. Yes, I am a little excited about that.
The leaves are beginning to change here. The temperature has dropped quite a bit in the last 2 weeks. Almost jacket weather. Well, actually, in the mornings it is jacket weather. I have to say fall up here is beautiful. I am going to thoroughly enjoy it. It was always my favorite time of year. Well, I need to get back to work so I am off.
