Painful day
Jun. 4th, 2003 06:07 pmJust when I think I am on a roll. I haven't had a headache for several weeks. I was starting to relax and enjoy the pain free days. I know better than to expect the headaches to stay gone, but do they have to come back with such a vengeance.
I woke up this morning to a terrible throbbing behind my right eye. Aspirin didn't even dent it. Usually my headaches range from irritating to painful, but sufferable. Only rarely do I have one that some would probably classify as a migraine. This was definetely on the verge. It even affected my stomach. I hate that.
My only high point today was that I worked out of my bosses house today and was able to relax and wear jeans. Oh and at 1 we ran over to Bellvue Hospital to see our friend Jacquie who gave birth this morning to Luke Christian Zink. 8 Lbs 11 ozs! Whew...Jacquie is a tiny little thing. She was all stomach. Looked like she had swallowed a medicine ball. Now we know why...lol.
12 hours later, and I think my headache is finally loosening its hold on me. Have a light dinner and get to bed early and I should be good to go in the morning. *sigh
My grandmother told me once she has never had a single headache her entire life. I told her she wasn't allowed to speak to me anymore. Ok, I will stop boring anybody reading this now.
